Turkish leader"s daughter heads secret ISIS hospital

Turkish President Erdogan and daughter Sumeyye Erdogan

Turkish President Erdogan and daughter Sumeyye Erdogan

A former nurse has revealed she was employed at a secret Turkish hospital used to treat wounded ISIS soldiers near the Syrian border, run by Sumeyye Erdogan, daughter of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

The nurse, who did not reveal her name for fear of retaliation, is a member of the Alawite faith, a minority offshoot of Shia Islam, according to an investigative report released by the Montreal-based Center for Research on Globalization.

“I was given a generous salary of $ 7,500, but they were unaware of my religion,” she told investigators. “The fact is that I adhere to the Alawi faith, and since Erdogan took the helm of the country the system shows utter contempt for the Alawi minority,” the nurse added.

She said she was forced out of her position because hospital officials began treating her unfairly when they learned she was a member of the minority sect.

They had no confidence in Alawites, the nurse said.

“No sooner did they become cognizant of my faith than the wave of intimidation began, for I knew many things as who was running the corps, I saw Sumeyye Erdogan frequently at our headquarter in Sanliurfa … I am indeed terrified, I rue the day I enrolled in that program.”

She now lives in hiding in Istanbul with her two children.

“Almost every day several khaki Turkish military trucks were bringing scores of severely injured, shaggy [ISIS] rebels to our secret hospital, and we had to prepare the operating rooms and help doctors in the following procedures.”

Hers is just the latest charge that the Erdogan government is secretly assisting ISIS in its war against Syria’s Assad regime, a charge the administration has repeatedly denied.

Get the free WND special report, “ISIS Rising: Prelude to a Neo-Ottoman Caliphate,” now!

Once hailed as a nationalist and secular politician, Erdogan’s 13-year reign has been marked in recent years by increasingly provocative jihadi rhetoric.

WND reported Erdogan has called on his countrymen to refocus on the Ottoman goal of re-conquering Jerusalem for Islam and uniting Shia and Sunni tribes for that same mission.

In a speech that got almost no coverage in the Western media, Erdogan talked about invading and reconquering Jerusalem, according to an article in the Anadolu Agency of Turkey.

No one has his eye on the unfolding of end-time events in Turkey like Joel Richardson. See the works of this Bible-prophecy expert in the WND Superstore.

“We Muslims lost our aim to head toward Jerusalem,” he told throngs of adoring Turks while in the state of Erzincan in central Turkey, according to a translation by Walid Shoebat. “The water of our eyes froze making us blind, and our hearts that was destined to beat for Jerusalem is now instead conditioned for rivalry being in a state of war with each other.”

Erdogan was in the city to promote numerous service projects, but the speech focused on Jerusalem.

“When you mention the word ascension, the first thing that comes to mind is Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque,” he said, referring to the mosque that sits on the Temple Mount.

Turkey also served as the home base of the 2010 Muslim flotilla that unsuccessfully attempted to break the Israeli naval blockade of Gaza in an incident that resulted in 10 deaths and many wounded on both sides.

Sumeyye Erdogan earlier was subjected to public condemnation by her father’s political opponents when she expressed her intent to go to ISIS-occupied Mosul, Iraq, to do volunteer relief work. Her brother, Bilal Erdogan, is accused of being engaged in the smuggling of Syrian and Iraqi oil, plundered by ISIS to fund its caliphate and military operations.

Bilal owns several maritime companies that control special wharves in the ports of Beirut and Ceyhan, the report alleges, that are used to transport ISIS oil to Asian markets in Japan-owned tankers, resulting in ISIS being the world’s wealthiest terrorist group. One of those companies, BMZ Ltd, is considered an Erdogan-family business and the president’s close relatives hold shares in it.

“President Erdogan claims that according to international transportation conventions there is no legal infraction concerning Bilal’s illicit activities, and his son is doing an ordinary business with the registered Japanese companies, but in fact Bilal Erdogan is up to his neck in complicity with terrorism, but as long as his father holds office he will be immune from any judicial prosecution,” Gürsel Tekin, a senior opposition party official in Ankara charged Tuesday.

Mideast expert Joel Richardson, author of the New York Times bestseller “Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist,” has argued Erdogan’s support for ISIS is particularly cynical, self-serving – using ISIS to prepare the geopolitical groundwork for Turkish control over the entire region.

In his documentary exploring the intentions of the Turkish government “End Times Eyewitness,” Richardson says: “There is a Turkish proverb which says, ‘Show the people death and they will gladly embrace malaria.’ Erdogan is allowing ISIS to do its dirty work in its backyard. He is using them in his war against Assad, the Kurds and Iran. But then the time comes, he will dispose of ISIS, (or allow others to do so) and he will step forward, as a far more appealing caliph.”

In the end, Richardson, whose most recent work is “When a Jew Rules the World: What the Bible Really Says About Israel in the Plan of God,” believes the geopolitics of the end times are unfolding before the eyes of the current generation. And the multifaceted battle between various factions is setting the stage for a larger and potentially far more destructive conflict.

Horror: ISIS booby-traps baby to explode

isis_flag
Editor’s Note: The video included below is extremely graphic. Please view with caution.

ISIS has become known for its depraved attacks on Christians and other people of other faiths in the Middle East that include sexual assault, crucifixion, beheading and even the killing of children by sword or gun.

But a new report reveals that the Muslim organization marching across Iraq and Syria, claiming territory and portraying itself as a caliphate of Islam, has descended even further.

To the level of booby-trapping and exploding an infant.

The report comes from the website of former Palestinian terrorist-turned Christian Walid Shoebat.

Shoebat on Monday cited Arabic language news sources in the Middle East reporting that in Iraq, Diyala Province Security Committee Chairman Sadiq el-Husseini said, according to Al-Sumeriah News, that ISIS “booby trapped the baby north of Shirqat in the Saladin Province and then in front of tens of armed ISIS men detonated it from afar.”

The report, according to Shoebat, added that the baby’s father was executed just weeks ago for participating in the killing of an ISIS member.

Shoebat said the baby was then rigged and then detonated as part of a training exercise by ISIS to teach its fighters booby-trapping techniques.

Related story: Report: ISIS plotting female jihad on Christian sites

The Iraqi Ministry for Human Rights said ISIS also kidnapped four girls from the same family because they refused to participate in “sex jihad,” and they disappeared.

ISIS also has developed a new execution for men: amputating their sex organ. The ISIS fighters then “let their blood drain until they died while [their] hands were tied,” the report said.

Shoebat said the accuracy of the reports seem plausible, because in one recorded video issued by ISIS a number of execution methods are documented, including “booby-trapping heads with explosives and then detonating the charges to have the heads fly like projectiles.”

The ISIS video shows several men being put into a car and then a rocket-propelled grenade hits the vehicle and explodes.

Another scenario has victims locked in a large metal cage that is lowered under water, drowning them.

Then there is a row of victims who are bound together by what appears to be a detonating cord wrapped around their necks. The subsequent explosion decapitates most of them.

Editor’s Note: The video included below is extremely graphic. Please view with caution.

An ISIS video earlier this year showed Christians being marched down to the seashore in Libya and decapitated with knives.

The London Independent reported this week that officials in Iraq have revealed the discovery of about 600 bodies of victims of ISIS.

Iraq Human Rights Minister Mohammed al-Bayati gave the latest update on a body count that is expected to continue to rise and possibly even double.

The bodies are of young air cadets, massacred after the fall of the northern city of Tikrit to ISIS one year ago.

WND reported last August on atrocities against children and others by ISIS.

One such report came from the Anglican Communion News Service, which said the 5-year-old son of a founder of Baghdad’s Anglican church was “cut in half during an attack by the Islamic State.”

The report cited an emotional Canon Andrew White, chaplain of St. George’s Anglican Church in Baghdad.

“I’m almost in tears because I’ve just had somebody in my room whose little child was cut in half,” he said. “I baptized his child in my church in Baghdad. This little boy, they named him after me – he was called Andrew.”

The report said it happened in the Christian village of Qaraqosh after Kurdish forces left and Islamic State fighters arrived.

A Catholic.org report quoted a source, Mark Arabo, a Chaldean-American businessman, confirming the beheading of children by ISIS fighters, who then “put their heads on a stick and have them in the park.”

Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern, which has staff members traveling in Iraq, has evaluated many of the reports and finds them “completely consistent with who these guys are.”

“They’re absolute barbarians. We’re at a loss of words to describe who these guys are.”

He cautioned, nevertheless, that news agencies and readers always should be a little skeptical of random images posted online, because there’s likely an element of propaganda involved.

Something worse than ISIS coming, U.S. warned

ISIS atrocity

ISIS atrocity

ISIS has taken center stage in the global effort to establish Islamic supremacy, surpassing jihadist networks such as al-Qaida and Hamas in prominence. But what if a force is coming that will dwarf the self-declared caliphate and its army, known for its savage brutality against anyone who stands in its path.

One author is warning that’s a possibility. In fact, he’s suggesting ISIS is simply a tool for the “neo-Ottoman” pretensions of America’s supposed NATO ally, Turkey, a power that eventually could surpass Hamas, al-Qaida and ISIS.

Author Joel Richardson notes the fact that ISIS is facing a serious challenge to its authority, as Kurdish forces in Syria have retaken almost a dozen villages with help from coalition air support.

What’s getting Turkey’s attention is the growth of Kurdish military power.

Richardson, author of the New York Times bestseller “Mideast Beast: The Scriptural Case for an Islamic Antichrist,” argues the Kurds make up the only reliable pro-American forces in the region actually winning victories against ISIS. He criticizes President Obama for not doing enough to aid them in their struggle against Islamic extremists.

He told WND: “Of all of the various factions fighting ISIS, only the Kurds are achieving any legitimate success. The Kurds are also the only legitimate group worthy of our support. So why are we not arming them? Why are we not giving them sufficient training and support? Worse yet, why are we going so far as to frustrate and block the efforts of some of the moderate Arab regimes to arm the Kurds?”

Richardson said the answer lies in Obama’s “abominable” foreign policy.

He explained: “After George W. Bush left office, the Obama administration undertook a massive shift to begin supporting so-called moderate Islamist regimes and movements, while pushing for the overthrow of the various regional dictators such as Libyan President Moammar Gadhafi, Egyptian President Mubarak and Syrian President Bashar Assad. In place of these dictators, Obama opted instead to support the Libyan revolution, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Syrian rebels, and the Turkish AKP party, which in many ways is a Turkish version of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

The surging Turkish AKP (Justice and Development) Party of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is now appealing to the country’s Islamic heritage and its history as the seat of the Ottoman Caliphate, he said.

Speakers from the party have urged crowds to work for the “liberation” of Jerusalem, and the country’s leadership has openly spoken of pursuing a new regional order based on the country’s Ottoman past.

Standing in the way so far, however, are the Kurds, who make up a substantial portion of the country’s population, especially in the east and the southeast.

Turkey also has been plagued by separatist movements agitating for Kurdish independence.

Arabs, Turkmen and other minorities in the conflict zone also charge Kurdish forces are using the struggle against ISIS to change the demographics of the conflict zone and create the conditions for an independent Kurdistan.

Kurdish victories in recent weeks have forced ISIS to launch savage counter-attacks to retake its lost territories. The United States is increasing air support to the Kurds, but Turkey refuses to join the coalition against ISIS and is even considering military action to prevent an independent Kurdish state.

A Kurdish state could pose a formidable challenge to Turkish dreams of regional hegemony.

“From the perspective of Turkish President Erdogan, the Kurds are a worse threat than ISIS. The reason is because to Erdogan, Turkish regional dominance, essentially a revived Ottoman Empire, is much more important than the atrocities carried out by ISIS against tens of thousands of non-Sunni Muslims,” Richardson said.

Richardson believes Turkey is using ISIS to prepare the geopolitical groundwork for Turkish control over the entire region.

See his comments:

Richardson, who explores the intentions of the Turkish government in his documentary “End Times Eyewitness,” says: “There is a Turkish proverb which says, ‘Show the people death and they will gladly embrace malaria.’ Erdogan is allowing ISIS to do its dirty work in its backyard. He is using them in his war against Assad, the Kurds and Iran. But then the time comes, he will dispose of ISIS, (or allow others to do so) and he will step forward, as a far more appealing Caliph.”

Get the free WND special report, “ISIS Rising: Prelude to a Neo-Ottoman Caliphate,” now!

Richardson argues Americans should not underestimate the hunger of Sunni Muslims in the Middle East for a reconstituted caliphate under Islamic law.

“The people clearly want a caliphate, the people clearly want Islamic law, but they do not want it under the oppressive and brutal face of ISIS. Turkey will then set itself forward as the far more appealing alternative. Unfortunately, if the past six years are any indicator, the U.S. will support such a so-called moderate alternative.”

Turkey is not the only major Sunni player in the region. Richardson foresees eventual conflict between Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

He especially is concerned about the prospect of instability in Saudi Arabia, which has aggressively funded a radical version of Sunni Islam around the world but remains under the control of a wealthy, dissolute and ostensibly pro-American ruling class terrified of its own population.

Furthermore, in what Richardson terms the “multiple level chess match” of Middle Eastern politics, largely Shiite Iran is moving to aggressively counter bids by the Sunni powers to secure control over the region. Iranian forces have been combating the ISIS for months, and Shiite militias comprise some of the most dedicated fighters on the battlefields in Iraq. And as Richardson notes, these Shiite forces, including those of the Iranian regime, are driven by their own apocalyptic beliefs.

In the end, Richardson, whose most recent work is “When a Jew Rules the World: What the Bible Really Says About Israel in the Plan of God,” believes the geopolitics of the end times are unfolding before the eyes of the current generation. And the multifaceted battle between ISIS, the Kurds and other factions is setting the stage for a larger and potentially far more destructive conflict.

“There is a war that is breaking out right now in the Middle East. It’s a conflict between Turkey and Iran. It hasn’t become a full-fledged military conflict. But I think there’s a strong series of reasons that very well could get there in the future. So this is one of the big issues those watching the Middle East need to be paying attention to in the days ahead.”

Huckabee"s ISIS strategy: "Whatever it takes"

MikeHuckabee

Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee

WASHINGTON – It sounded almost like a declaration of war.

Not only would presidential candidate Mike Huckabee use the U.S. military to attack ISIS, he would go after virtually all of radical Islam.

WND asked if he saw the ISIS threat as big enough to commit to a large-scale deployment of U.S. forces in the Mideast.

“I would include not just ISIS but Boko Haram, al-Qaida, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Iranians,” Huckabee replied.

“I think it’s very important for us to understand there are many forms of radical Islam … but they all represent the same evil. And that’s the evil of believing they are here on this earth to murder and destroy every person who does not agree to live under their radical Islamic caliphate.”

Captive burned alive by ISIS

Captive burned alive by ISIS

The former Arkansas governor isn’t calling for a full-scale intervention yet, but he wouldn’t rule it out.

WND asked: What about boots on the ground?

“Whatever it takes. I don’t think we take anything off the table.”

“One of the mistakes this president has made is he tells the enemy all the things we won’t do,” said the Republican presidential contender. “I would never tell the enemy we wouldn’t do certain things.

“I’d say, ‘Look, here’s what were going to pledge to you: We will take you down and it won’t take us 10 years or 10 months, we’ll try get it done in 10 days.’”

“You never use more resources than are necessary,” he cautioned, “but you never use less than are required to make sure the job is done most efficiently and effectively in the least amount of time and with the least amount of American bloodshed.”

“And we just have to very clear to say, we love our liberty and we’re going to do whatever it takes to defend it and America will not be bullied by a group of people riding around in pickup trucks, waving automatic weapons and blowing up things.”

How would he defeat ISIS?

“By having a military that can very quickly and overwhelmingly put an end to the terrorist activities. We are not applying the kind of pressure we need to be putting in the Middle East on their supply lines – making sure that everything that can be done is being done.”

Huckabee called for sending “A-10 Warthogs (military aircraft designed to destroy tanks and other armored vehicles) over their every truck, every tank and every supply line. Those are some simple things that can and should be done, and why they are not being done is beyond me.”

What would he say to President Obama who recently claimed, “Ideologies are not defeated with guns but better ideas”?

ISIS execution squad

ISIS execution squad

“The statement that the president made that we don’t defeat ideologies with guns is laughable on its face and clearly an indication that this president has no clue about history,” he said.

Huckabee quipped, “I wish somebody could’ve just had a little chat with Hitler and said, ‘Gee your ideology is all wrong, maybe you should read a few books and come to some better ideas.’

“But it wasn’t having a chat with Hitler that defeated the Nazi threat; it was having a military force that crushed him. We’re talking about dealing with bad ideologies that don’t surrender on their own and have no intention of simply reading a better book and coming to a different conclusion.”

“There’s only one way to deal with it,” declared Huckabee. “The president says it’s not guns. I would say it’s the biggest, best, most fierce guns on earth that we do most certainly need, in order to defeat them.”

The GOP presidential candidate said that means bringing the U.S. military “up to a readiness level that is worthy of the world’s most powerful military force. We’re spending about 2 percent of our GDP (gross domestic product) on the military. We’re at the lowest level of readiness since before World War II. We need to be spending about six percent of GDP. We need to be on parity with China on building submarines.

“We need to have the most awesome level of military power that has ever been assembled in the history of mankind. And if somebody wants to take on the United States, they would find themselves on the losing end of the stick.”

When asked if, as president, he would attack Iran to prevent it from getting the bomb, Huckabee said, rather than announce what specific steps he would take, he would first send a clear message to Iran.

Nigerian girls kidnapped by Boko Haram

“You’re not going to have a nuclear device. Whatever it takes to keep you from having it, that’s what we will employ. But you won’t have one. We’re not going to tell you what we will do. We won’t tell you what we won’t do. We’ll just tell you that the result is a movie that has a final scene you don’t want to see.”

When asked if it was already too late to stop Iran from getting the bomb, the governor called economic sanctions still the most effective tool.

He said the importance of applying economic pressure on adversaries was another reason to accelerate American energy exploration and production.

Huckabee said America could export enough energy to “bankrupt countries like Iran, Russia and the Saudis, and change the balance of power in so doing.”

“Imagine what would happen if we became the greatest energy exporter in the world,” he said. “When that happens, Putin doesn’t have the money to move into Crimea and Ukraine; the Iranians don’t have the money to build the bomb; and the Saudis don’t have the money to finance the madrasas that train the terrorists who kill us. It changes the entire face of the planet.”

Does he have any doubt that Iran is trying to destroy the United States?

“No doubt at all. It’s one thing if a country is subtle about it, and maybe we only think that because of certain clues, but when you have an elected parliament in Iran chanting, ‘Death to America’ and vowing that no one will be able to inspect their military facilities, I think that’s a pretty good indicator that we’re not dealing with an honorable people.”

Huckabee insisted there was no reason to believe for one moment that any nuclear agreement struck with Iran would prove binding.

He said there was nothing about the Iranian government that America can trust and that sanctions should have been increased rather than decreased.

Hamas soldiers

Hamas soldiers

“We should never have gone to the negotiating table with them. We should have done everything we can to bankrupt them. We should never cooperate with them. Because they are simply not only untrustworthy, but they have already declared repeatedly in their chants, even as they pretend to negotiate with us, death to America.”

Huckabee warned that the Obama administration must recognize that the Iranian government is not its friend.

“They are, in fact, our enemy and they have declared they want to go after Israel, which makes them our enemy … We’re sitting there having tea with the Iranians trying to have negotiations. Instead, we need to be going to Jerusalem, standing with (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu, and saying we will go shoulder to shoulder to make sure Iran never has nuclear capacity.”

What would the Mideast look like under President Hillary Clinton?

“It would look like even a greater mess than it looks like now under Barack Obama.”

Huckabee maintained, “There’s not a country on this entire planet with whom America has a better relationship than when he took office.

“The last thing we need is a third Obama term, which is what we’d have with Hillary Clinton.”

Gaza to be declared ISIS "caliphate"

isis-gaza

ISIS supporters in Gaza

TEL AVIV – Marking a significant development in Mideast affairs, Salafists in the Gaza Strip plan to officially pledge allegiance to ISIS and openly fight under its banner, a senior Salafist militant in Gaza told WND in a phone interview.

The news immediately followed the release of a video from ISIS insurgents in Syria threatening to turn the Gaza Strip into another one of their Middle East territories and accusing Gaza’s Hamas rulers of selling out Islamic values.

Abu Mousub, an aide to Abu Al-Ayna al-Ansari, a leader of a Salafi group in the Gaza Strip, told WND by phone from Gaza that Al-Ansari’s group will officially announce it is representing ISIS in Gaza.

Until now, Al-Ansari’s jihadi group and other Gaza-based Salafist organizations have hesitated to officially declare themselves part of ISIS, instead preferring to say they were allied with ISIS ideology. This even though their written statements and videos brandished the ISIS flag.

Abu Mousub said if Hamas does not stop its crackdown on Salafists and dedicate itself to ISIS’ Islamic jihadist values, Al-Ansari’s new ISIS group plans to continue attacking Hamas installations with the aim of taking over Gaza from Hamas and incorporating the coastal enclave within ISIS’ self-declared caliphate.

The free WND special report “ISIS Rising,” by Middle East expert and former Department of Defense analyst Michael Maloof, will answer your questions about the jihadist army threatening the West.

Al-Ansari’s new-found confidence comes less than one day after the Information Bureau of the Aleppo Province, affiliated with ISIS, released a new video titled “A message to our folks in Jerusalem” in which ISIS members originally from Gaza declared war on both Israel and Hamas.

In the video, Abu Azzam Al-Ghazzawim who hails originally from Gaza, sent a message to what he called the “tyrants of Hamas”:

“You are nothing in our reckoning. You, Fatah and all the secularists, we count you as nothing. Allah willing, we shall uproot the state of the Jews. You are nothing but froth that will be gone as we move in. Allah willing, Gaza will be governed by Shariah despite you,” he stated.

Abu Qatadah Al-Filistini (Palestinian Abu Qatadah), an ISIS member who leads a faction in Aleppo, Syria, was on video calling on all “monotheists in Gaza to join the convoy of the Muhajidin and to join the State of the Caliphate.”

Abu Qatadah further accused Hamas of “sliding gradually into apostasy, a slide that started with the demolition of the Ibn Taymiyah Mosque.”

“It is a movement that does not seek to govern according to Shariah but seeks to appease Iran and America, the heads of apostasy.”

The developments come after ISIS in the northern Sinai Peninsula, which neighbors Gaza, faced off with the Egyptian military in what media is describing as the deadliest battle on the peninsula since the 1973 Arab-Israeli war.

Egypt’s general command for the armed forces released a statement that the army had killed at least 100 militants in North Sinai while it said 17 of its own soldiers, including four officers, were also killed.

However, Egyptian security sources put the actual number of dead Egyptian soldiers at closer to 65.

Significantly, the ISIS militants in Sinai captured Egyptian tanks, the security sources told WND.

The Egyptian security sources further divulged that for the first time ever, ISIS militants in the Sinai temporarily occupied two towns, Rafah and to Sheikh Zuweid. The sources conceded that as of this report, ISIS is still in some control of pockets of both towns.

Gaza becoming center for export of ISIS fighters

gaza-isis
TEL AVIV – As Palestinian Salafists allied with ISIS rapidly gain influence in the Gaza Strip, the coastal enclave is becoming an international exporter of jihadists who fight under the ISIS banner in other countries, primarily Syria.

Middle Eastern security officials tell WND of a growing phenomenon of Palestinian militants, some from within Hamas, who are abandoning their posts in Gaza and traveling to Syria to join the Islamic rebels there.

The officials say the Gazans usually travel from Gaza to Egypt to Libya, where they join up with locally based extremists and make their way to Syria.

According to jihadist sources in Gaza, just last week eight members of Hamas’s so-called military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades, left their families in Gaza to fight in Syria under ISIS. The sources said the ex-Brigades forces complained that Hamas is not Islamic enough.

The free WND special report “ISIS Rising,” by Middle East expert and former Department of Defense analyst Michael Maloof, will answer your questions about the jihadist army threatening the West.

Last month, when ISIS militants took over Turkmen villages in Aleppo, the second largest city of Syria, the terrorist group installed a new “governor” there who is a Palestinian from the Gaza Strip.

In recent weeks, Hamas has been facing perhaps the biggest challenge to its rule in the form of rival Salafist groups allied with ISIS. The groups have accused Hamas of “selling out” their Islamic faith and have been openly challenging Hamas, including with firefight clashes and attempted bombings.

Last week, Salafists in Gaza under the banner of the Omar Brigades claimed responsibility for a rocket launched from Gaza toward southern Israel, at least the fifth such rocket fired from Gaza in recent weeks.

The rocket attack violates a truce between Israel and Hamas. The Salafists apparently want to draw Israeli retaliation targeting the Hamas infrastructure. Israel holds Gaza’s Hamas rulers responsible for rockets fired by Gazan groups.

Hamas has arrested dozens of ISIS-allied gunmen and imams, and a Salafist mosque was destroyed.

Earlier this month, a ISIS-tied jihadist, 27-year-old Younis Hunnar, was killed during a raid by Hamas security forces on his Gaza City home.

Things have gotten so bad that Hamas has been using Egypt as a middle man to pass to Israel information on rival Salafist jihadists in the Gaza Strip, hoping the Jewish state will target the militants, an Egyptian security source told WND last week.

The source said the intelligence-sharing development does not mark any change in Hamas’ attitude toward Israel. Nor does the development represent any rapprochement between Israel and Hamas, the source added.

The source further stated the information from Hamas only flows one way and that Israel does not in turn share any intelligence via Egypt with Hamas.

Asked to comment on the Egyptian security source’s claims, Mushir al Masri, a spokesman for Hamas, told WND, “This is a sick joke.

“Israel is our enemy,” al-Masri said. “Our conversations with Egypt has nothing to do with Israel.”

ISIS tweets Pam Geller address

PamGeller

WASHINGTON – A man believed to be a British ISIS leader tweeted out the home address of anti-jihad activist Pamela Geller, a WND columnist and head of the American Freedom Defense Initiative.

It was the latest in a series of death threats and intimidation tactics by Islamists against Geller. This one came just hours after a third man linked to a plot to kill her and Boston cops was arrested.

“#GoForth,” the Tweet urged, via a hashtag, after revealing Geller’s New York City address, apartment number and all. The Twitter account that sent out the address has since been suspended.

In “Stop the Islamization of America: A Practical Guide to the Resistance,” Pamela Geller shows how freedom lovers can stop jihadist initiatives in local communities.

In May, two gunmen were killed and one security guard was injured in Texas during a “draw Muhammad contest organized by Geller. ISIS soon after claimed responsibility for the attack at the private event.

The contest in Texas was organized months after the January Charlie Hebdo shooting in Paris, where nearly a dozen staffers were killed for the satirical publication’s provocative depictions of Muhammad on a series of the tabloid’s covers.

The two men charged in Boston with the plot to kill Geller reportedly were working with a third man who was killed by police last week.

Monday WND reported Geller’s monthly security bill to protect her from Islamic extremists is $ 30,000.

“I can’t go anywhere without a team, without an enormous security apparatus,” she told WND.

WND is awaiting comment from Geller on this latest threat.

Students back Israel boycott, reject condemning ISIS

(Washington Free Beacon) The executive board for the largest student union in the United Kingdom is under fire for joining the boycott campaign against Israel, after the council voted down a previous measure to condemn the Islamic State late last year.

The British National Union of Students’ National Executive Council (NUS-NEC) passed a resolution on Tuesday supporting the anti-Israel boycott, divestment, and sanctions movement, which seeks to socially and economically isolate the Jewish state.

The NUS-NEC opposed a motion last October denouncing the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, and supporting the Kurdish forces fighting the terror group, after some members argued the resolution was Islamophobic and warmongering.

ISIS issues dire warning to Israel

TEL AVIV – If Hamas does not cease its crackdown on ISIS supporters in Gaza, the backers of the movement that has taken over half of Syria and one-third of Iraq will violate a truce with Israel and carry out more rocket attacks against the Jewish state, a leader of the jihadist organization that represents ISIS in Gaza told WND.

Tuesday, supporters of ISIS in the Gaza Strip provided WND with a video they say proves they launched a rocket from the Gaza Strip that hit central Israel last week.

The video, with an ISIS flag in the upper left corner, shows a rocket and launcher burrowed in sand. The next scene contains footage of the rocket being launched followed by Arabic news reports about the attack.

The video, sent to WND by a senior Salafist leader tied to ISIS, was produced under the banner of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, which represents ISIS in the Sinai Peninsula and now claims a foothold in Gaza.

The Gaza branch calls itself the Sheikh Omar Hadid Brigade.

The free WND special report “ISIS Rising,” by Middle East expert and former Department of Defense analyst Michael Maloof, will answer your questions about the jihadist army threatening the West.

The authenticity of the rocket launch in the video as well as the ISIS allies’ claim of responsibility for the attack could not be immediately verified.

The Hadid Brigade of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, the group that produced the video provided to WND, also released a statement claiming responsibility for assassinating a senior Hamas commander in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, leading to a major Hamas crackdown on ISIS supporters in Gaza.

Now a leader of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis in Gaza has told WND that if Hamas does not cease its crackdown, the group will not only continue to target Hamas, it will also break the Israel-Gaza truce with more attacks launched against the Jewish state.

Ansar Bait al-Maqdis released a list of demands to Hamas:

  • The release from Hamas jails of all ISIS-allied “mujahideen, preachers, students, detainees and abductees.”
  • An end to what the group claims is Hamas’s “media incitement”” and “war of lies and distortions” against ISIS supporters.
  • Granting to the Salafist Islamists their “legitimate rights,” including the right to bear arms and carry out advocacy and social and relief work to the Palestinian people.
